My Background
I love fabrics and notions. I am always looking for ways to put them together in a new way. My mother taught me how to sew and embroider when I was in high school. These crafts stayed with me. I find them meditative and it gives me reason to focus my attention on something cool.
My Medium
I am constantly looking for new mediums to blend together. Old and new, natural and synthentic. I like exploring the use of color and combinations of fabrics. I like thinking things through and then experimenting with the ideas.
My Inspiration
I am a traveler deep down. I get my inspiration from everyday life and get an extra boost from my domestic and international trips. Inspiration is all around us. It's up to us to pay attention to it, relax into it, notice what's around us. Walks generate ideas, shops do too, visiting with others, reading, nature - inspiration is all around us constantly. Creativity and Design are in every subject .... with the component of infinite variety.
